How to check the radiation level of your smartphone

tháng 2 27, 2019     How to     No comments

Most people while buying a new smartphone go by the specifications or the price of the smartphone. But there are a few other things that one should consider before buying a new smartphone such as after-sales service, resale value or the radiation level. Having said that, the radiation level is the least known fact or piece of information people want to know before making the purchase. Radiation or SAR value of a phone is basically a radio frequency transmitting device that releases some level of radiation that has an adverse effect on health over time.

So, those who want to know the radiation level of their smartphone here’s how to do it.
First things first:
Some smartphone brands mention the SAR rating in the user manual that comes with the box of the smartphone. However, some smartphone makers simply write down the value in the specification section on their website. However, there is a simple workaround that allows users to
check the SAR value right inside their phones.
Steps to follow to check the SAR Value

1.Unlock your smartphone and open the ‘Dialer’
2.Now, type the code ‘*#07#
3.The smartphone will now automatically show the SAR rating of the smartphone
User can also check several other things such as IMEI number, etc using this method and by dialling another code from the dialer
Steps to check the IMEI number

1.Go to the dialer app of your smartphone
2.Type ‘*#06# on the dialer
3.Once done, the smartphone will automatically display the IMEI number of the smartphone.

WhatsApp trick: How to create your own personal WhatsApp Stickers

tháng 2 13, 2019     How to     No comments

Facebook-owned WhatsApp has recently added the Stickers feature allowing its users to send different stickers while chatting just like other instant messaging apps. In the latest update version 2.18, users can now see a new option in the emoji section of the app called Stickers. In the beginning, only one sticker pack comes pre-installed with the update. However, the built-in sticker store gives the option to download more, the store also has the option to download stickers from Google Play Store. Though several third-party sticker packs are available, it still lacks some good stickers that you might want to use. So why not create your own stickers and use it. Well, if you are looking for creating your own stickers, follow our step-by-step guide.

Pre-requisites:
Latest version (2.18) or above of WhatsApp
Working internet connection
First step: Creating an image with no background
The first thing you are supposed to do is click your images with the expressions you want and convert it to PNG file format with no background. To do that, open your smartphone camera and click some images and now let’s convert them into PNG file format with no background and then will add them to WhatsApp. so here’s how to convert your pictures into PNG with a transparent background or no background.
1.Open Google Play Store and search for any background eraser app
2.Now, open any image you want to convert into Sticker
3.Erase the background and crop it accordingly
4.Save the image in PNG format (as WhatsApp only supports PNG format for Stickers)

Note:- Create at least three images as WhatsApp does not allow to add a Sticker pack with less than three images in it.
If you have completed the steps mentioned above, download another app called ‘Personal Stickers for WhatsApp’.
1.Download the app and open it
2.The app will automatically detect all the stickers you have created

How to know which Android apps are slowing your phone

tháng 2 07, 2019     How to     No comments

With more high-performance and graphic intensive Android apps and games being launched, the limited memory capacity of smartphone goes for a toss. Thus, a lot of smartphone brands are launching handsets with 6GB or 8GB RAM. While buying a smartphone with more RAM is definitely a way to get a smoother experience, there are many Android users who cannot afford to do so. Also, there are ways to identify memory intensive apps. You can either kill the apps or even uninstall them to speed up your Android phone. This can further save precious battery life too.

Before you blame games or other heavy apps for draining battery and slowing down your phone, note that in most cases, it is Facebook or Instagram app that tends you hog the most battery and RAM on any Android phone. Here is how to know which app is consuming more RAM and slowing your phone.
1.Go to Settings
2.Scroll down and tap storage/memory
3.The storage list will show you what content is consuming the maximum storage space in your phone. This list shows internal memory consumption only.

4.Tap on 'Memory' and then on memory used by apps
5.This list will show you the 'App Usage' of RAM in four intervals-- 3 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours and 1 day. With this information, you will get to know all apps that are consuming what percentage of RAM.

Based on this information, you can kill the app or even install it. If your internal storage is almost full, then it causes the phone to slow down. Make sure to keep some storage free on the internal storage as well. This should speed your phone and lastly, don't forget to restart your phone everyday.
